1986-2006: our history
La Piccola Selva was born on 1986,March 23: its name takes origin from the ancient denomination of the area on which it rises, la Selva Tagliata (the Cut Forest). Since 1500 this was a zone cultivated to orchards and vines, next to a farm with cattle breeding, thanks to the vicinity of the green pastures of the Mottarone Mountain.

In the first years of activity the company has specialized itself in the production of ornamental plants for the house and the garden, beyond supplying a qualified service for maintenance of gardens. At the beginning of years '90, in order to satisfy the requirements of the own customers in a better way, it has been introduced the working of cut flowers, proposing one personal, simple and elegant line.

The store was renewed and widened in the summer of 2000. The outside is dominated by a great quinte in rheinzink symbolizing the frame of a theatre on whose stage the absolute protagonist is the nature, with its colours and its shapes. The inside draws inspiration from an ancient little square with the floor in travertino and a refreshing fountain in granite on the background.
